Macklin!
I love filmmaking.
I am a production coordinator, screenwriter, and filmmaker based in Chicago, IL. When I’m not working on set or writing another pilot, I’m probably posting my next review on Medium or TikTok.
I attended Columbia College Chicago and graduated in 2022 with a degree in Television, focusing on directing and producing. During my time at Columbia I worked as a Producer for Freqout, the school’s version of SNL. In 2018 I received the Youth Producer of the Year award from Falmouth Community Television.
I picked up lighting after a friend was looking for a grip. Soon enough, I was asked on 3 more sets just to work on lighting!

Truck It
Currently I am working as a line producer on a proof of concept pilot episode for a TV series called Truck It. We are currently in pre production as we prepare to shoot in late March.
Here’s some of the work I’ve done as a line producer:
- Develop a standard process for production work to be completed. This included creating a daily updates page for everyone to keep track of work, organizing the Google Drive, and maintaining open lines of communication with everyone involved in the production.
- Create and run the audition process by creating sign up sheets, communicating with actors and the Truck It team, and preparing the audition space to make an optimal audition environment.
- Email and coordinate with vendors to rent gear, develop product placement deals, and to get craft services available for the set.
